Some of you already know that I’m been coping with some critical challenges over these previous 24 plus months. A flooded home, separation from my spouse and household, some difficult well being points, and different struggles pressured me to set this weblog, my new e-book, and different audio associated tasks to the aspect…briefly. I apologize for the absence and hope to do higher over the subsequent a number of months. Life is stuffed with surprising turns and I’ve definitely had my share not too long ago. But I’ll attempt to write extra usually and give attention to getting the brand new e-book completed, printed and distributed quickly.

I continue to be bombarded — and angered — with bogus cable reviews, audiophile FB group posts and comments about the merits of cables, and newsletters announcing special promotional offers from cable vendors. It’s crazy how much attention — and […]
I know many of you have been waiting patiently for me to provide detailed, track by track results of the HD-Audio Challenge II. I’ve written in general terms about my findings but have not revealed a rigorous breakdown as promised. […]
It’s finished. The HD-Audio Challenge II, my sabbatical research project from last fall, has run its course. It’s time to start presenting the data and the analysis associated with almost 500 responses. Among those that submitted their results were audiophiles, […]
Audio trade shows have ceased operations due to the pandemic. No more AXPONA, T.H.E. Show, or Capitol Audio Fest until further notice. But that doesn’t mean they’ve opted out completely from holding “online” shows of one kind or another. I […]
DXD CDs I hadn’t planned on writing today. My efforts lately have been focused on the relaunch of iTrax.com. Everyday, I try to add a couple of albums from the AIX Records collection AND from the licensed catalog of other […]
